KOBE Elders Gathering

29 March 2017
On March 29, 2017, Elders, and community members from the Keewaytinook Okimakanak communities came together in Red Lake, to begin a discussion on the development and the implementation of the KOBE Language Policy.
The Elders gathering is also a wonderful time to visit, exchange memories and knowledge.
The gathering also offers the opportunity to discuss the challenges of the generational gap in languages and perspectives and to share solutions how these challenges can be bridged and/or addressed.
